Heather Rapko

Music Instructor

Heather has moved from frequent substitute to our music instructor.  We are very glad to have her as part of our permanent staff.  Heather’s goal as Music Instructor is to inspire creativity and expression! She also believes that teaching basic music fundamentals develops a deeper appreciation to music. She has an energetic approach to bringing children out of their shell and finding joy through music and sound!

Interesting facts about Heather:

  • Received a BA in Language/Linguistics from U of S, spending the 3rd year at el Tec de Monterrey in Mexico
  • Studied piano and clarinet in her youth, and has recently taken up guitar
  • Absolutely loves the magic when she see others connect through music
  • She is fluent in Spanish and conversational Hebrew
  • Heather is a registered Yoga teacher and Fitness Instructor and gives weekly classes
  • She loves travel, adventure, spending as much time outdoors as possible, hunting, yoga, gardening, biking
  • Favourite colour – rainbow
  • Favourite book – Spirit Hacking by Shaman Durek
  • Least Favourite food – overcooked seafood
