Liz Reynolds

Head of School

Elizabeth (Liz) A. Reynolds (she, her, hers) is our head of school.  She was with Allegro Montessori School for the first time as an elementary aide, front of office secretary, and janitor.  Her second time at Allegro she worked as the elementary director and staff representative for the Board.  Finally she joined Allegro again in 2013 as their head of school.  Finding a system of education that believed in nurturing a child and making a priority of the child’s needs was like coming home.  Maria Montessori took the idea of nurturing the whole child and proved it both scientifically and practically.  You cannot go wrong with that sort of evidence.  Her favourite part of the the day is when the students come and visit her in her office.

  • She has a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Saskatchewan
  • She has her Montessori Lower Elementary Diploma from North American Montessori Training Centre, under the mentorship of Margaret Hurst (Casa director, Head of School)
  • She is currently working towards her masters in Montessori Education
